Early dismissal

I see that the last picture I posted is not working. I'll work on figuring that out... but not today.

This is an "early week" at school. It's Parent Teacher Conferences, so the kids get out at 1:30 all week long. While some parent may not like this, I actually REALLY, REALLY like it. I think school just takes up too much of their day. If the teachers really focused their efforts, they could get the academics finished in a fraction of the time. But there's too much playing going on. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not against playing. It's just that by the time my kids get home from school and do their homework and practicing, there's not much time for play at home. I want them to play at home. It's funner to play at home. You get to do whatever you want. You can take your shoes off. You can play with your friends who aren't in your class. You can have a snack while your play. You can even... shh... play Nintendo! Yep, much better.

Today, they'll have time to play at home. :) But will I have time to finish my blog?
