When you think about studying the life of the Savior, what interests or intrigues you? What do you think your part will be to satisfy that interest?

I want to feel His compassion. And I want to see the world the way He sees the world. I think my part is to focus my personal scripture study time to this end. I have started a separate scripture journal to record any thoughts that come to me during and after my reading for the day. I want to open my heart to being taught by the Spirit during my study time. I know a lot about the gospel. I want to find it in the scriptures. I want to think and learn about compassion as I read the stories of Jesus' compassion. I think that concentrating on how He lives the gospel will provide interesting insights for me.

We completed this worksheet in 3 groups using the Bible Dictionary. Many years ago, as I started reading the BD, I thought it would be helpful to underline the one or two most helpful parts so I wouldn't have to read the whole thing again next time I looked there. It's also been interesting to me to see exactly how much of the BD I have read over the years!
