Okay, here's the Lagoon lady...

All right. All right, so I'm just joking. This is really just some picture I found on the internet. But seriously, when did Lagoon turn into skank-ville? I haven't seen so many tattoos and so much cleavage since... oh, the last time I went to the beach. Yeah, it was pretty much just like being in some low budget location in California (not that the beach is, just that it can be.) So much for the "family" theme park of Utah. I think it's the water park that led to the death of Lagoon. With the water right there handy, it just begs for people to be walking around in the swimsuits all day long. I just don't like seeing all that skin. Blech!!! And can I just say (of course I can, this is my blog, right?!)... that a LOT of people need to think a little clearer before putting all that crap PERMANENTLY on their bodies. It's supposed to be pretty right? Only ONE focal point people! Seriously. Someone needs to direct a few (or a lot) of these people in the difference between accessorize and uglify.
I'm a little opinionated about tatoos. A little. :)
One last picture in honor of my tattoo talk...
He probably spends a lot of time drinking, you think?
now I want to see the photos. They didnt come up on the blog. However, I concur!!!!!-- Leighann
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Leighann, I was unable to view the photos, but would like to. People call it body art...I think it stands for Alcohol Related sTupidity.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Leighann and Lisa. I think I've got Picasa figured out now. It was working on MY computer, but noone else's because I didn't upload to the web yet. Enjoy. :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, what you saw at Lagoon is the best we can do for a "family park". I tend to agree with you, and so appropriately put calling it "skank-ville" One piece of advice, if you think Lagoon is bad, never ever go to a city carnival in Utah, or city-o-scum as I call it...

Oh but you didn't see the wrinkled old lady with the "garden gate" tatoo on her thighs! The kids still talk about her. I have yet to see a tasteful tatoo. Seems like everyone around here has them, active members of the church included.
ReplyDeletegol, Lori! I didnt think you'd show EVERYbody the picture of your mother! lol And that pic of your dad isnt the best angle! lol I agree with the comments on tattooing. It just seems that there has to be a better way to express yourself than drawing in permanent marker. However, on the other hand, I really do like my new eyebrows.
ReplyDeleteWow what hot bods. If only i could wear my shorts that short and have soo much cellulite to show...

To each his/her own. I am sure there could be something that I do to express myself that is distasteful to others (sarcasm, has been mentioned before) it is not for me, but I have a brother whom I love that chooses to express himself this way and I respect his agency.
