We went beach camping!
Now since most of you reading this didn't really know beach camping existed until roughly 5 seconds ago, let me tell you what it's like.
First of all, you have to call January 2, 8:00 a.m. By roughly 8:15, all campsites are taken. You pay $82.50 to camp for 4 days/3 nights in a space 20'x40' with neighbors RIGHT next to you... as in two feet away... if that. Fortunately, there are a few bushes and trees to seperate each camp site. The campsites are flat, and the bathrooms/showers are closeby and cleaned/hosed down every morning. The beach is 100 yards away. Here is our best picture of our campsite. We were having ribs that we heated up in tin foil over the fire. Yum. Yum.
Our first full day we got LOTS of sun. You can tell from the above picture... look at our lips. The second day we go even more sun. Here is a random beach shot.
We had SOOOO much fun... but I think we'll want to stay out of the sun for awhile.
