Cause I have two daughters who play the flute, we do double duty at recitals. Typically people thinks it's just "cute" to have both of them playing. I think it's a lot of work.
Most time when I'm listening to them play; practice or performance, I hear their mistakes and their blurbles, but once in a while, it'll catch me off gaurd and I stop what I'm doing to listen in amazement of what they're able to do. Soon they'll be better than I ever was... although I still sight read MUCH better than them. Before this recital began, as they were warming up, I had one of those moments, where I'm completely caught off gaurd by something in their abillity to play. This time it was Sunshine's tone. It was truly beautiful. And to hear her playing so beautifully, so innocently, was endearing. She's my sunshine girl!
