Okay, so you all know now... two months later. I've been asked to serve as the Primary President in our ward. Honestly, I knew the call was coming, but I kept telling myself they they SURELY wouldn't make a big change until AFTER the Children's Sacrament Meeting Program (CSMP) in late October. I was wrong.
It's been a crazy two months. I don't know how I've survived, really. I haven't been so busy in... well, since my first few years of teaching. This is different though. I seem to be doing more administrative managing than teaching. I love the women (and few men) I serve with. They are a marvelous bunch of people. I am lucky that they are so willing to sink their heart into their callings and work with all my crazy ideas. I do think we've got some great things going on in Primary. I seriously feel like the whole rest of the ward is missing out on spending two hours each week with such awesome men, women, and mostly, children. Helping to shape their testimonies is truly the Lord's work and I am honored to be trusted to do so.
I love, love, love Primary.
You're a much better person than me. I don't love love love primary.
