Whoo Hoo!

I'm so proud of my girls. In spite of the fact that they don't like to practice, they did a great job at the San Diego Flute Guild Solo Festival (last April).  Sweetheart won 3rd place and Sunshine won an Honorable Mention. Apparently, Sunshine's award means that she did a good enough job to place, but her piece was not as difficult as the other pieces in her division. Since her piece matched her age, she was honorably mentioned. It made their day.

 

The other guy in the photo was the first place winner. He was amazing. He clearly deserved to win first place.
