Strawberry fields forever...

If you want the best strawberries around, you have to drive over by the coast where there are indeed strawberry fields forever, acres and acres of strawberry plants. I decided to take the girls a couple of weeks ago when we were over by the coast for something else, which due to middle-age dementia... I have no idea why at the moment. :) We picked 2 buckets and ate lots more, cause I didn't want to take the time to stop for lunch because whatever we were doing was apparently WAY too important for that... whatever it was. So we ate a bazillion strawberries, made ourselves sick of them, Esther fell in the mud, Sweetheart made jam in her hands, and Happy continued to point out every spider within 20 yards of her (how she can see them is beyond me).... because they are oh, so, dangerous, you know... and after all that, we didn't even have the camera with us. So here's a picture from 6 years ago when we first moved here. I can't believe my girls have grown up so much since then.
